A gently curving ditch, possibly the corner of a Roman temporary camp was visible as a cropmark on air photographs at SE2267 9978. It was visible over a distance of approximately 155m. It is not thought to be a continuation of the possible temporary camp recorded in UID 1090413 as this is on a slightly different alignment. A second feature, interpretted as a possible Roman temporary camp, is centred at SE2287 9974, appears to have 5 sides and measures approximately 55x37m. Near its centre are traces of a small rectilinear enclosure measuring 12x10m.

Both features have now been destroyed by gravel extraction
