Risby Ironworking Site

Occupation Site. A scatter of pot and other artifacts identified in field-walking. Much 4th century pot but also Samian and late-Iron Age pottery. Other finds include tile fragments, querns and indications of iron-working. The site is generally regarded as a possible villa site, the scale and date of the ironworking is unknown.
